Summary:

Coadministration has not been studied. Ezetimibe is glucuronidated by UGTs 1A1 and 1A3 and to a lesser extent by UGTs 2B15 and 2B7. Ezetimibe is a substrate of OATP1B1. When nirmatrelvir/ritonavir is used for an extended treatment duration (10 days or longer), ritonavir induces UGTs but inhibits OATP1B1. These opposite effects might limit the magnitude of the interaction. No a priori dosage adjustment is needed.
